What to choose, what to choose?

Happy Monday!

So, you’ve had a week to ponder all the fundraising flyers that came your way last week. Many of you are probably having a hard time deciding which items to purchase. Or maybe it’s just me!

The flyers that came home were for: Samko & Miko, Fundscrip, MacMillans, and Cedar Bush Creations. That’s a lot to sift through if you’re new to the school. So, let’s break it down.

Samko & Miko is an annual shopping extravaganza that takes place at the EY Centre. Get your receipt stamped at the cash register. Bring your receipt into the school and a percentage will be given back to the school. Win/win, right?

Fundscrip is all about gift cards. Are you planning on giving out gift cards this holiday season? Or hosting any parties? Consider paying for your groceries with gift cards! Purchase the gift cards through Fundscrip and the school receives a percentage (different stores offer different percentages).

MacMillans. Oh my! This is a popular fundraiser. Mostly because it is delicious! As well as very convenient. The items are frozen so you can pop them into your freezer and take them out when you’re in a hurry to entertain, or have a hankering for monkey bread. I took bit of a survey and heard that some of the perennial favourites are:  Chocolate covered cheesecake bites, Carrot Muffins, Monkey Bread, Pizza, and Pies.

Cedar Bush Creations. I am personally quite excited about this one. A local Castor Valley family makes these delightfully whimsical woodland creatures.

So, be sure to send your order forms in (Fundscrip on the 5th, and the others on the 6th) as soon as possible!

Here are some woodland creatures to brighten your fall day!

I’ve been staring at the Cedar Bush Creations flyer all weekend trying to decide which of these crafty little guys are going to decorate my front yard this season… I ended up choosing two! 😉
